In our review of the OnePlus Nord CE, we looked at the phone’s battery life. The battery of this new smartphone is bigger than the previous model and topped out at 4500mAh. OnePlus renamed this tech Warp Charge 30T Plus. We also tested how long the battery lasts while streaming videos and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. As with the rest of the OnePlus lineup, the Nord CE also has some battery-saving features. Oneplus Nord CE 5G

Although the display on the OnePlus Nord CE is less than impressive, it does offer a larger screen than the Nexus 6. It lacks a dedicated alert slider and doesn’t feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. The camera on the OnePlus Nord CE isn’t as good as the Hasselblad-equipped OnePlus phones, but it’s still adequate for general photography. The selfie camera on the Nord CE is also good. And, overall, it has the right combination of features.

Despite its size, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G features a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is a welcome addition considering that OnePlus discontinued the feature in its OnePlus 6 last year. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC with Adreno 619 GPU for 10 percent better GPU performance. The phone supports a whopping 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

While the OnePlus Nord CE 5G isn’t as sleek as the Asus 8Z, its thin profile will be a welcome change from the bulkier phones we’ve used in the past. The notch and chin are a pleasant surprise, and the phone itself isn’t slippery. OnePlus includes a free silicone case in the box. This case is similar to the original Nord. The camera is good and the software is very responsive.

The Nord CE 5G is priced right in the middle. It features a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 16MP front camera. The device is available globally except for North America. It has several models in different storage capacities, and the 8GB/128GB model is our pick. Unfortunately, there is no microSD slot, so if you need more space, you may want to opt for a higher-end model.

The camera on the Oneplus Nordic CE is decent. The screen offers an AMOLED panel with deep blacks and excellent contrast. The brightness is decent, but it’s not as impressive as a phone with a higher price tag. The OnePlus Nord CE’s display also has a ring/vibutton. The ring/vib button is a welcome addition to this smartphone. We’re looking forward to using it!

While we’re not the most photogenic people, we’ve been impressed by the camera on the Oneplus Nord CE. Its main camera has a 64-megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. OnePlus has also included an 8MP wide-angle camera and 2MP macro camera for improved photos. On the front, there’s a 16MP camera for selfies. Overall, the Nord CE is a great phone, but it’s a little lacking in some key areas.
